Cooling the Shuttle

The biggest innovation made by shuttle is that of their I.C.E. Technology.  As opposed to a small metal heat sink and a small noisy cooling fan, the I.C.E. (Integrated Cooling Engine) consists of a liquid cooled heat-pipe system, small radiator, and a larger quieter 80 mm cooling fan.  This makes the system run both quieter and cooler.
